Board the Midwest’s only gondola for an enchanting ride to the top of Moose Mountain where the Summit Chalet awaits. Northwoods opulence describes the 5,000 square-foot chalet with large open seating area boarded by windows, a stone wood-burning fireplace, cascading wall waterfall, and large sundeck overlooking Lake Superior.

The best of the mountains, northwoods, and Lake Superior converge at the Summit Chalet. Panoramic views of endless water, national forest, and the jagged beauty of the North Shore will be the backdrop for the wedding day. These awe-inspiring views can only be had from 1,000 feet above Lake Superior!

 

Celebration

After an outdoor ceremony on the deck overlooking Lake Superior, the Summit Chalet’s warm and festive ambiance welcomes the wedding party inside for a memorable celebration. Up to 180 guests will be seated comfortably indoors for a sumptuous dinner created by the Executive Chef. The wedding will have exclusive use of the Summit Chalet, gondola, and Moose Mountain for the evening.

 

Stay

At Eagle Ridge Resort guests receive a 10% discount with a group block. Discounted Summit Chalet rental fee when the wedding party reserves a minimum number of rooms, and the bride and groom receive a complimentary fireplace or Jacuzzi studio. Studios, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos are available.
